    Width = w

    lenght = 6 width = 6w

    area = 284 yd²

    = (width) (length)

    = (w) (6w)

    = 6w²

    6w² = 284

    w² = 284/6

    = 47.333333 ...

    w=√47.2

    = 6.88 inches

    perimenter = 2width + 2 lenght

    = 2 (w) + 2 (6w)

    = 2w+12w

    = 14w

    = 14 (6.88)

    = 96.28 inches
