What is x if 6x is equal to 5x+15?

The answer is 15
this is because 6x = x*x*x*x*x*x
and 5x = x*x*x*x*x and you add the 15
now you have x*x*x*x*x*x=x*x*x*x*x+15 and you can cancel out 5 x's on each side
now you have x=15
