The density of copper is 8.96 grams per cubic centimeter. How many grams are in a block of copper with dimensions 10 centimeters by 2 centimeters by 0.5 centimeters?

    Volume of the copper block = l*w*h = 10*2*0.5 = 10 cm^3

    mass = volume * density = 10 * 8.96 = 89.6 grams Answer
