    Given that a circle is inscribed in a regular polygon, it is true that the sides of the polygons are tangents of the circle. The area of the circle is always less than the area of the polygon. When the polygon is inscribed in the circle, then the sides of the polygon are chords of the circle and t he vertices of the polygon are on the circumference of the circle. Answer is D.
