    The last expression is the best to look at. That is;

    A = (pi. r) r and C = (pi. r) 2

    Comparing the multipliers r and 2;

    If

    r is equal to 2, then values of area and circumference are equal.

    r is greater than 2, then the value of area will be smaller than that of the circumference.

    r is smaller than 2, then the value of area is smaller than that of the circumference.

    Therefore, statements 1, 2, 3, and 5 (fifth statement is similar to statement 3) are true.
