Suppose that a butterfly can fly 82 feet in 4 seconds. A dragonfly can fly 50 feet in 2 seconds. Which can fly faster and by how much?

    If a butterfly flies 82 feets in 4 seconds, it will fly 41 feet in 2 seconds. A dragonfly flies 50 feet in 2 seconds, so that makes it faster than the butterfly by 9 feet per 2 seconds, or 4.5 feet per second.
