A standard deck of 52 cards contains four suits: clubs, spades, hearts, and diamonds. Each deck contains an equal number of cards in each suit. Rochelle chooses a card from the deck, records the suit, and replaces the card. Her results are shown in the table.     There are 52/4=13 cards of each suit, so the theoretical probability of selecting a particular suit is 1/4 because there are four suits, each with same sized set of cards. The probability is also 13/52=1/4 if we consider the cards themselves. In the table the frequency of hearts is 15, which would give us an experimental probability of 15/52, higher than the theoretical probability of 13/52.
