Lester started with 80 items in his MP3 collection. Each month, he buys 10 more MP3s to add to his collection. The number of MP3s in his collection, p, is given by P = 10m + 80, where m is the number of months he has added 10 MP3s to his collection. How many MP3s will be in Lester's account in 6 months?

    Plug 6 into m, which stands for the number of months, in the equation:

    10 (6) + 80 = 60 + 80 = 140
