A triangle has an area of 24cm and a base of 4 cm. which is the height of the triangle

    A = (b * h) : 2; where A = the area of the triangle; b = the base of the triangle; h = the height of the triangle;

    24 = (4 * h) / 2;

    48 = 4 * h;

    h = 48 : 4;

    h = 12cm.
