Sasha has $90 to spend on clothes. She wants to buy a pair of jeans for $27 dollars and spend the rest on t-shirts. Each t-shirt costs $9. Which inequality represents the number of t-shirts she can purchase?

    What you would do is make an equation so it could be j+x=90 and j=27. The equation should look like this now: 27+x=90 then you would subtract 27 from both sides and the equation should look like this now: x=63. Now x is the amount of money Sasha has to spend on t-shirts. Now you would make a new equation and it should look like this: 9t=63 and then you would solve it and should get t=7 so you can get 7 or less shirts. The answer is x≥7.
