Quadratic function in intercept form is y=a (x-p) (x-q), p and q are the roots.
in this case, factor the expression first:
y = (3x+8) (2x-1)
factor out the coefficients of x: y=3 (x+8/3) * 2 (x-1/2)
so the final answer is y=6 (x+8/3) (x-1/2)
