A grocery store has 48 cartons of eggs. If there are 12 eggs in each carton, how many eggs are there?

    Since there are 48 cartons of eggs and each cartons have 12wggs. So, the total number of eggs are=

    =number of cartons*number of eggs in each cartons

    =48*12

    576.

    Therefore, number of eggs are 576.
