2.25 (4x-4) = - 2+10x+12

    First distribute the 2.25 to the 4x and - 4 you'll get 9x and - 9. Then you'll have 9x-9=-2+10x+12. Then move the 10x to the other side you'll get - 1x-9=-2+12 now move the - 9 to te other then becomes positive so no you have - 1x=19 then divide the one so x is by itself and end up with x=-19. That's what I did.
