Y=5-7x 5 is your Y-intercept then go down 5 and to the right 1

Subtract 7x to the other side making the equation, y=-7x+5. Then you fgure which one is your m, and b. using the equation y=mx+b. As you can see m is subsituted with - 7 so - 7 is slope. (M=slope, rise over run). Then b is also replaced with 5 so your first pairof coordinates are (0,5) Your b is always your y in (x, y) So you plot (0,5) and then from (0,5) you move down the graph 7 times and move one space to the right
