One number is 9 times a first number. a third number is 100 more than the first number. if the sum of the three numbers is 606 , find the numbers.

    Let first number = x then

    we have x and 9x and x + 100

    x + 9x + x + 100 = 606

    11x + 100 = 606

    11x = 506

    x = 46

    so the three numbers are 46, 146 and 414 Answer
