    (f o g) (x) means f (g (x))

one way to find (f o g) (-5) is to find the value of g (-5) then subsitute that for x in f (x)

    so

    g (5) = - 4 (-5) + 6

    g (5) = 20+6

    g (5) = 26

    f (g (5)) = f (26) = - 2 (26) - 7

    f (g (5)) = - 52-7

    f (g (5)) = - 59

    answer is D
