I got $34 for my answer. First, multiply the amount of pizzas, (which is 4) by the cost of each pizza ($5). You will get $20 for the cost of the 4 pizzas. Then multiply the number of breadsticks (2) by the cost of each order of breadsticks ($2). You should get $4 for the cost of the two orders of breadsticks. Then multiply the number of sodas (8) by the cost of each soda ($1.50). You should get $12 for the cost of the 8 sodas. Now add up the total costs of the 4 pizzas ($20), two orders of breadsticks ($2), and the 8 sodas ($12) to get $34. Now divide 34 by 8 to get you answer, $4.25. Therefore, each student owes $4.25 before tax
