Tracy works at a sporting goods store that sells 18 snowboard models and 6 skateboard models. She just got a call from her supplier that one of the models has been discontinued.

The probability that the discontinued model is a snowboard is.

If you use a spinner divided into four equal sections with two sections for snowboards and two for skateboards to simulate this situation, the probability of a snowboard being the discontinued model is.

    To determine the probability that snowboard is the discontinued model, let us use the formula,

    P = number of favorable outcome / number of total outcome

    Since there will be a spinner divided into four. Two each for snowboard and skateboard. There will be two favorable outcomes for the snowboard to be predicted as the discontinued model.

    Therefore,
