How do elements form?

A. Through the cooling of molten lava

B. Through chemical reactions

C. Through the evaporation of seawater

D. Through fusion in stars and supernova

I narrowed it down to B and D, Those make the most sense to me

    Chemical reactions between compounds CAN break up the compounds

    and release some of the elements in them, but that doesn't always happen

    in chemical reactions. And even when it does, the elements that are there

    after the reaction were already there before it. The reaction didn't form them.

    Elements form in the first place by fusion in stars and supernovae.
