A force of 75 N at an angle of 15° to the direction of motion moves a chair 3 m. Which change would result in more work being done on the chair?

    The work done on the chair is determined by using this formula:

    W = F * d * cos θ

    where W is work done

    F is force applied

    d is the distance

    θ is the angle at which the force is applied

    We are given:

    F = 75 N

    θ = 15 degrees

    d = 3 m

    Therefore,

    W = 75 * 3 * cos 15

    W = 217.33 J

    The work done on the chair is 217.33 J, to increase the work done, you either increase the force, increase the distance of decrease the angle. Then, the work done will also increase.
