Protons and neutrons are both inside the nuclei of the atom while the electrons are spinning around. they also make up the mass of the atom.
protons are positively charged while neutrons are neutral.
Protons and electrons are alike in the number while they are opposites in the charge because protons are positive while electrons are negative. Their quantity makes up the atomic number for an element.
