Explain how electricity can be conducted by acids ad=nd bases

    So are strong bases. The reason acids and bases conduct electricity is that when they are mixed with water, they "separate" into ions. And the ions are charge carriers. These charge carriers can be made to carry a charge (which is why that description fits them).
