A diver makes 0.50 revolutions on the way from a 9.4-m-high platform to the water. Assuming zero initial vertical velocity, find the diver's average angular velocity during a dive.

    wi = 0 rad/s

    Theta = 0.5 rev

    r = 9.4 m

    S = 2 * pi * theta * r

    = 2pi * 0.5 * 9.4

    = 29.53 m

    at * r = g

    = 1.043 rad/s^2

    Using angular equation of motion,

    wf^2 = wi^2 + 2 * at * S

    wf^2 = 2 * 1.043 * 29.53

    = 7.85 rad/s
