A graduated cylinder has a mass of 50g when empty. when 30 mL of water is added, the graduated cylinder has a mass of 120g. if a rock is added to the graduated cylinder, the water level rises to 75mL and the total mass is now 250g. what is the density of the rock?

    D=M/V

    M=250G-120G=130G

    V=75ML-30ML=45ML

    D=130/45=2.89g/ml
