    1) 2.56 x 10^ - 17 N away from each other. As it is the force between two electrons, it is a repulsive force. The magnitude of the force is given by F = q1q2 / (4*pi*e*r^2) where q1 q2 are the two charges interacting, e is the permitivitty of free space, and r is the distance between the charges. Substituting our values, we have F = (1.6 x 10^-19) ^2 / (4*pi*e*3.00 x 10^-6) ^2 = 2.56 x 10^-17 N.
