A water tank has a mass of 2.43 kg when it is empty, and a mass of 54.2 kg when it is filled to a certain level. What is the mass of the water contained in the tank at this level?

    When it's filled, the mass of the tank itself is still 2.43 kg. The other 51.77 kg of mass must be the water in it.
