An object accelerates uniformly from 3.0 meters per second east to 8.0 meters per second east in 2.0 seconds. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the object?

    Final velocity (v) = initial velocity (u) + (acceleration (a) * time (t))

    v = 8m/s

    u = 3m/s

    t = 2 seconds

    a = (v-u) / t = 5/2 = 2.5m/s²
