The United States Congress has two bodies: the House of Representatives with 435 members and the Senate with 100 members.

The head of the House is called the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the head of the Senate is called President of Senate; it is a position held by the Vi-ce president. Usually however, this position is represented by the Presided pro Tempore.
