Why were unions critical of Frederick Taylor's work on scientific management?

    Unions were critical of Taylor's work because his main focus was not on the well being of the worker, but instead on the well being of the management. This was shown in his work as described in creating a difference between planning the work (basically using your brain) and performing the work (manual labor).
