    Quid pro quo in Latin means something for something which means you give me something so that I can also give you something back, in this sense it is based on sexual activities. It is usually used by those who have authority over their subordinate such as a manager asking for sexual favours in exchange to give someone a job. It can also be used to promise someone a promotion.

    In this case the lecture is using his authority or power over Claudia to say if you can do for me some sexual favours I will also do a favour for you which will be to give her good marks.
