Describe two fundamental beliefs of judicial restraint judges. Describe two fundamental beliefs of judicial activists. Choose any landmark Supreme Court case and explain how the majority opinion in that case reflected judicial activism.

    1. - Judicial restraint judges:

    They usually are more traditional and they have a very strict interpretation of the constitution.

    2. - Judicial activists:

    They are not as traditional as the restraint judges and they have a loose interpretation of the constitution.

    Brown vs Board of Education is a case where most of the people were in favor of ending segregation. This reflects judicial activism because a judicial conservative would've wanted to keep segregation because in the constitution it states that the "separate but equal" statement and they wanted to do as the constitution said. Judicial activist argued against that saying that it they were not separate but equal educational systems.
