The pre-conventional stage of moral development is the stage of justice, obedience, and mutual advantage. This stage coincides with Piaget's first stage pre-operational period of thinking. At this stage, the child is self-centered and insensitive to the moral effects of actions on others. At this stage, the child has short sighted related to morality. At this stage, the child adapts the rules of obedience and punishment in other sense morality out of trouble since. The righteousness and wrongness depend on the punishment and rewards by authorities figures such as teachers and parents. The second rule the child follow is the ethics of market exchange. At this stage, morally good action is that not favor by only parents but even by outsiders and the same things happened in bad manners.
