    b. Social constructionism is less deterministic

    Explanation:

Social constructionism is a knowledge theory in sociology and communication theory that studies the development of understanding of the world on the basis for shared assumptions about reality. It stems from the understanding that information or meanings of information is as a result of how it has been interpreted in coordination with others as opposed to separately by one's self alone.

Social constructionsim is less deterministic in that it is not as centered on external causes when it affects gender roles as functionalism, psychoanalytic theory and conflict theory.
