The correct answer is C. Corporations and the wealthy cannot donate and excessive amount.

Funding is needed so that the political parties can be part of the political process. Unfortunately, the role of money is a big threat to this process and therefore to democracy. This can be done by huge corporations donating money, or drug money being used to promote the political party.
