How often do Americans elect members of the US Senate?

    The terms themselves are 6 years long; but the elections are staggered, so every 2 years 1/3 of the senators is being elected.

    So the answer is: 2, Americans elect members of the US Senate every 2 years (but perhaps not all states vote every time).
