    The state religion of China begun by the Han Dynasty is Confucianism and Daoism which was considered the religious legacy of the dynasty for its 400 years. It was also the acceptance of Mahayana Buddhism. Han dynasty was the second great imperial dynasty of China after the Zhou dynasty succeeding the Qin dynasty.
