    The Japanese painter SesshĹ" TĹŤyĹŤ is the creator of the Haboku painting technique. The artist employs ink to create abstract brushstrokes, using contrasting layers of black, gray and white. The effect is a surreal look, where lines and contours are blurred. There many Jspanese landcape paintings that displays this technique.
