Why would shakespeare add a silly scene before romeo and juliets marriage?

    Shakespeare often did this as a comedic relief. They women in the audience back then wore the tight tops and too much of a stressful, tense, scary, lovely, whatever emotion would often cause the women to faint. Shakespeare's solution to this issue was to provide a comedic relief to his audience.
