I am writing a poem and my teacher told me not to use secondary pronouns like you and your. Does anyone know how I can replace those words?

    It greatly depends on the context in the sentence. For example, instead of writing you are beautiful, you could write my eyes are blinded from the dazzling light of beauty. But in my opinion, your teacher is just being hard on you, unless he has a good reason.
