Meeting scientific criteria is something that becomes an elusive thing for humanities and social sciences

    Explanation:

Scientific criteria is believed to be universal but it always has its own biases and imperfections which is admitted to by the best of scientists themselves. Even the study of science has not been completely subjective and it can never be.

Hence it is erroneous to assume that humanities and social sciences can completely adhere to the scientific method let alone actually meet scientific criteria of judgement.

This is simply because certain concepts cannot follow the rules of science and remain subjective.
