What are the merits and demerits of 1999 constitution

Merit: Nigeria has a constitution which sets the framework for a Democracy.

Demerit: The constitution was commissioned by the last Military administration before return to civilian government in 1999, it is strewn with ambiguous statutes, military governance concepts, over centralization of governance, and protection for special interests.
