Gauguin most likely moved out of the Yellow House because (A.) - He is afraid for his life, they lived in Province, and after he moved, he then left for Paris, though he never saw Van Gogh again, they sent letters to eahother. Paul Gauguin left the house after Vincent Van Gogh sliced off his ear. The house was rented in Van Gogh's name, and Van Gogh's mission was to create a community where artists could thrive together.

Going in order from the bottom to top, The last sentance eliminates the third answer, referred to as 'C'. Answer two, 'B' is eliminated by the second to last sentance, and Answer 'D' is explained in the third line of the first sentance. Leaving the first Answer, which I referred to as 'A'.
