    The varying color tones in ancient sound by Paul Klee were intended to be associated with music.

    Given that Klee was a violinist, as well as a painter, the influence of music is quite obvious in his paintings as well. Even his paintings have names which are connected with music - one of them is called 'Ancient Sound.'
