What is "slip"? What was it primarily used for by the Greeks?

    "Slip" is a mixture of water and dry clay. It is/was used to bond scored pieces of clay.

    Slip is used in Greek pottery, they joined the clay together with slip after the drying process, in this case some pottery used slips just to see and impression on the inside of the vessel piece of act that they created.
