What is reflecting panel used for

Measured reflection transfers function is given for several types of reflecting panel. In which, transfer function measured in a shadow of reflecting panel exhibit interference characteristic. It shows the non-uniformity of the transfer function is shown to be due to out-of-phase waves diffracted from the panel edges.
