At the beginning of interphase in g1, a cell has 36 chromosomes. how many chromatids would be found in that same cell in g2 of interphase

    At the beginning of interphase in g1, a cell has 36 chromosomes. The number of chromatids that would be found in that same cell in the g2 of interphase would be 36 as well. Before replication in the S phase, each chromosome is termed as a chromosome monad which would be one chromatid. After the replication process, a chromosome would be formed to a chromosome dyad which would be two chromatids that are bounded at a centromere.
