A cell contains a 30% solute concentration and 70% water concentration. of the cell is placed in a solution that is 60% solute and 40% water what will happen to the cell and what condition is the cell in?

    Exosmosis would take place ... the water molecules would move out through the cell membrane because it is placed in a hypertonic solution ...

    the cell would be in a condition known as - plasmolysed or flaccid
