Would hydroelectric energy be a good alternative for a small island country such as Great Britain? Explain your answer.

    Hydroelectric energy would not be a good alternative energy source for a small island country like Great Britain. The UK has a large population of about 60-65 million people and a large industrial, so electricity consumption would be a problem. A lot of hydroelectric dams would be needed to serve the large population, and UK does not have a lot of major rivers that are suitable for dams
