False. Deciduous forests often receive thirty to sixty inches of annual precipitation evenly distributed within the year. They are mostly found in forests between the polar regions and the tropics. These trees are commonly exposed to warm and cold air masses and they experience four different seasons. During fall, the trees change color and lose their leaves in preparation for the winter season.
