Astronomers have theorized that there could be three types of civilizations. What are they? How would they be recognized? which one has been ruled out so far?

The first type of civilization is one that’s still confined to its own planet, but usingmost of the energy there. Type two is a civilization that uses the energy of a star (with something like a Dyson sphere). Type three is a civilization that has venturedout into the galaxy and uses the energy from many stars and possible a black hole. Type three is ruled out because it’s been proved that no entire galaxy’s energy isbeing used up. They’d be recognized by the amount of energy they’re using (or the heat being released) and the Dyson spheres used to collect that energy
